I. Introduction
A. Hunger
B. This book was about how hunger affects people all over the world. Millions of people are starving, and suffering from hunger. The reason for this is lack of money and resources.
C. The theme of this book is you should should be thankfull for the food we have and try not to waste it.
D. This theme is significant because all over the world their are people starving and dieing of starvation. It is a terrible thing and everybody should be able to eat.

II. Theme of Book
A. Many people around the world are suffering from hunger.
B. In Guatemala almost 50% of children under the age of 5 are suffering from hunger.
C. The reason for this is lack of money.
D. Many countries dont have enough money to supply there people with food and keep tyhem from starving.
E. The people cant do anything about it, and they dont want to live this way but they have no choice.

III. Theme in History
A. Ever since Humans started living hunger has been a problem.
B. Even back a long time ago.
C. Back then the reason for hunger wasnt lack of money, it was they didnt know to store and keep food for later, and they also didnt know to grow things and farm.
D. Its sad when people just waste food when so many people would love to eat it and are starving.
E. This is significant because Hunger was a problem then and it still is now. People need to pitch in and help with this terrible issue.

V. Conclusion
A. Nobody should go hungry and not be able to eat.
B. Many people still just waste food.
C. In some countries 30-40% of food is never eaten. About 38 billiion dollars of it goes to waste each year.
D. The theme showed up good in this book and it was easy to understand.
E. The theme is important because i cant even imagine not being able to eat when i am hungry and nobody should die this way. More people need to step up and help this cause.

Many people around the world are suffering from hunger. In Guatemala almost 50% of children under the age of 5 are suffering from hunger. The reason for this is lack of money. Many countries dont have enough money to supply there people with food and keep them from starving. Another reason some people are starving is because they dont have a good leader and he simply doesnt care. The people cant do anything about it, and they dont want to live this way but they have no choice.

A. The founding of English colonies in modern Massachusetts combined a strange mix of idealism and violence.
B. Miles Standish contributed important protection to the early colonies by using violence.
C. Benjamin Church provided vital leadership to protect the colonies during King Philip's War.
D. Despite all of this violence, the colonies were also founded on religious idealism.
E. It is important to understand the full history of these areas because this is what Americans generally consider to be our nation's beginning.

II. First Major Point
A. Miles Standish contributed important protection to the early colonies using violence.
B. He was after a man named Corbitant because they thought he was organizing people against the pilgrams. He ended up surrounding the wigwams and scaring the Indians so bad they tries to run through the walls.
C. Killed Wicawaset with his own knife at the dinner table.
D. Threatens mortan that he will kill him if he doesnt get rid of the colony that the pilgrams dont agree with.
E. These show how Standish used violence to start the colony. Many Indians were afraid of him.

III. Second major point
A. Benjamin Church provided vital leadership to protect the colonies during King Philip's War.
B. He capture 60 Indians with just 6 men to protect the colony.
C. He saved his 20 men and got them across the river while 300 men were trying to kill him.
D. He kills King Philip and puts his head on a post because he was at threat to the colony.
E. People thought he was immune to bullets and that nobody could kill him.

IV. Third Major Point
A. Despite all of this violence, the colonies were also founded on religious idealism.
B. They thought that it was right for everyone to be a puritan.
C. They want religous freedom for themselves.
D. They wanted everyone to be able to read and write. They founded a school named Harvard.
E. His leadership helped found the colony with idealist ideas.
